Ok so I love to write but hate to blog. Does that make sense? I can't tell. Actually, I'd blog more but I'm trying to complete a second novel, write a column, and complete my journalism work. That reminds me: I'm going to SXSW again this year! Awesome! Well, except I don't know who I'm interviewing. I plan to meet Blood Orange though. This guy....
I love his tunes, trying to bring back old school R & B. I will keep you posted, setting some things up next week.
Good news! My first novel, Outtakes of A Walking Mistake, has sold 500 copies since its October release. Pretty excited about that. The reviews have been positive, and the best part: I can afford Starbucks again. I mean, not just coffee, but the fancy chai lattes. I'm a real writer! I'm-a-gonna edit my book real nice for ya.

I know. That's a random question....
So...book 2? Hm. The planned release is June 16th, 2012. I don't want to give away too many details but think 'My Fairy Lady' with a suicide streak/drinking problem and you'll get the picture. It's a feelgood story once you get beyond the snarky humor. Oh, I can't wait to share. But first, I must retool and edit. So chat soon.
